Tips For Hiring a Boom Truck

WHETHER it’s your 1st time or your 50th time hiring a boom truck,
here are some tips

  • Know the weight of your payload

  • Please know the distance in feet of the payload in relation to the potential crane location

  • Be prepared to keep the entire circumference of the boom lift are clear of workers

  • Inform us of any potential obstructions ie. tree limbs, power lines, unimproved roads, etc.

SAFETY First

According to the Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau,
80% of Crane Collapses are due to exceeding the crane's operational capacity.
Of these accidents, over half are caused by swinging a boom or
lifting objects without making sure the outriggers are fully extended.

Wood’s NCCCO Certified Operators place safety first.
Their expertise and vast experience ensure that
your job site doesn’t become part of such a statistic.
